In early October, ZARIOT attended and exhibited at the IoT Tech Expo in Santa Clara. We were able to successfully showcase our end-to-end data privacy solution – IoT Trust, developed in collaboration with Silicon Valley partner Atsign. This involved measuring the heart rate and oxygen levels of fellow attendees, who are then in full control of what data is shared, when, and with whom.
The ZARIOT team were all hands on deck in Barcelona at the Smart City Expo World Congress. This year saw the largest attendance in the events’ decade long history, with close to 50,000 participants and over 800 exhibitors supporting the hybrid event. ZARIOT Head of Security, Jimmy Jones, also spoke at the event, addressing the complexities of IoT security and underscoring why prevention with our solutions is always better than cure.
The world’s largest mobile technology convention saw a full week of exhibitions, conferences, and seminars, exploring key trends in the rapidly evolving mobile technology ecosystem. The ZARIOT team was invited participate in several panels involving the introduction of new cybersecurity laws, data privacy regulations and industry standards. Our booth also ensured we were there to connect with you, support your IoT projects and answer all your connectivity and cybersecurity questions.
May 2022 saw the ZARIOT team exhibiting our IoT security solution at the Startup Pavilion, made possible with our partners, Atsign and Kigen. Using the SIM as a root of trust, we harness the potential of eUICC technology to store cryptographic keys. This ensures complete data privacy by giving the data owner complete control over sharing permissions, while simplifying processes for applications to securely access data from IoT devices.
In addition to events, the ZARIOT team were honoured to be the winner for “Best IoT Solution Provider” at the prestigious CC-Global Carrier awards and shortlisted for “Best Mobile Authentication & Security Solution” at the GLOMO awards. Together, the awards are the most prestigious accolades within the entire telecoms and connectivity industry.
